As most services fall into a mix of hardware and software related work, the majority of charges fall into an hourly labor rate.
Some services, such as installations and networking, are contracted per project. Contracts are negotiated in advance. Anything out of scope is renegotiated to eliminate surprises.
Most common rates for home use clients:
ON SITE HOURLY LABOR RATE - $75 per hour plus $25 trip charge
(services rendered at clients location)
(minimum charge of $100.00 - includes up to one hour of service and a $25.00 trip charge)
Each ½ hour if billed thereafter
PHONE SUPPORT - $37.50 per ½ hour / billed in ½ hour increments
All phone support is billed regardless of who initiates the call
NETWORKING RELATED LABOR RATE - $98 per hour
(Windows Server 2000/2003, Novell, Apple Server OS X, Peer-to-Peer, etc.)
TRAINING - $60 per hour plus $25 trip charge
Includes computer, Internet, and/or software training
Maximum of two people
Additional hourly fee will be applied for every two people joining the training session
SERVICE CONTRACTS - Sold in 10 hour blocks, expire one year from date of purchase, fully transferable, and same conditions as hourly rates apply
- Computer/Software Related - $650 (Includes in-house or on-site work)
- Networking Related - $890 (Windows NT, Novell, Apple Server X, Peer-to-Peer, etc.)
- One-on-One Training - $500 (Includes computer, Internet, and software)
PRIORITY SERVICE – Add $25 to hourly labor rate
Priority service is defined as service requested in less than 4 hours of initial call or between the hours of 6 PM and 6 AM
RETURNED CHECK FEE - $25 per occurrence
